A Google anunciou o Pixel 3 e focou a apresentação na “câmera mais potente possível” do aparelho. Para ajudar a melhorar ainda mais o desempenho, a empresa integrou t otalmente o Google Lens à câmera do smartphone, permitindo novas funcionalidades.

A partir de agora, a integração do Google Lens pode ir para além da foto, com a câmera fazendo a leitura de pequenos textos e sugerindo ações baseadas no que o app identifica. Por exemplo, caso o usuário aponte a câmera para um número de telefone, o aparelho já sugere fazer uma ligação ou registrar como um novo contato.

Ainda, o toque contínuo na câmara leva o usuário para funções do Google Lens sem que ele tenha efetivamente que abrir o app. No exemplo, a imagem de uma flor leva a um conjunto de informações da espécie.
